As an agnostic I find myself always weighing things in my mind to help me determine whether God exists or not. With that said, I am slowly leaning towards a creator after stumbling upon this. A company has been successful in meshing two fantastic entities together: bacon and drinking.

The company is called Bakon Vodka, and as the name suggests, the group has created a bacon-flavored vodka (yes, I'm excited too!). Here's an excerpt from their website explaining how Bakon Vodka originated:

Although today you can find plenty of sweet, fruity-flavored mixtures and infusions, we wanted to set out to do something different, something savory…something bacon. And we set out to do it right, to create a premium-quality vodka you’d enjoy drinking.

We start with a superior quality potato vodka. Made from Idaho potatoes, it is smooth, slightly sweet with the well-rounded flavor that you only get from a quality potato distillation, with no strong burn or aftertaste.

Getting the perfect savory bacon flavor took us a while to get right too. We wanted it to have the essence of a delicious crisp slice of peppered-bacon.

After numerous recipes and a lot of testing, we got it right. And we think you’ll agree.

Bakon Vodka has been reviewed in the media too, including on the Tonight Show With Conan O'Brien and Fox News. Their website, Bakon Vodka, has a recipe list for drinking ranging from a Bakon Mary to The Elvis Presley, and even a Bakon Oyster Shooter.

Jacob from Crispy on the Outside had this to say about the drink

The aroma is definitely of bacon. More specifically, of crispy bacon. It smells like there’s a bit of char to it. The taste is of bacon too. In some bacon flavored spirits smoke becomes the dominant taste, but this actually has a meaty flavor to it.

Ok so bacon? Check. Alcohol? Check. What could possibly be wrong here? Well, sadly the distribution of this drinking is limited, at least for now. The only states that sell this vodka are Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho and New York, and even then finding it is a challenge. You will most likely have to special order it through a liquor store or purchase it online.

It would be nice to see this drink gain some popularity because I definitely want to get my hands on it (once I turn 21 of course).
